In trading on Friday, textiles shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of K-swiss (KSWS), down about 11.1% and shares of Crocs (CROX) down about 3.1% on the day.

In trading on Friday, construction materials & machinery shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 1.1%. Leading the group were shares of CRH (CRH), up about 4% and shares of Cemex (CX) up about 2.1% on the day.

After the bell on Thursday, Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI) declared its quarterly dividend of 12 cents per share, an increase of about 20% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 1.1% going forward.

On Thursday afternoon, Coca Cola (KO) declared its quarterly dividend of 51 cents per share, an increase of about 9% over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about 3% going forward.

Campbell Soup (CPB) reported second quarter earnings that topped analysts' estimates, but fell year-over-year. The company earned $205 million in the quarter, or 64 cents per share, which was ahead of the 62 cent per share estimates.

Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers increased 0.2 percent in January on a seasonally adjusted basis. The indexes for food, energy, and all items less food and energy all rose in January, each increasing 0.2 percent.

Amerigroup (NYSE:AGP) reported Q4 EPS of $0.67, better than analyst estimates of $0.62 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose 9.6% year-over-year to $1.65 billion, better than consensus estimates of $1.62 billion. James G.
